Mountain Highlands. |
With a back drop like this I nearly forgot the Coo's.
What a wake up to arrive at the Abberley Fold and see this view.

Back to the Coo's |
With lots of hospitality from Harry and Beth Prescott,
we were soon off in the ute for a close up of the Highland Cattle. Lots to
see compared to my two acres at home and more was to come. |

Left behind |
Well some times a Motorhome is a little bit of a
problem. With the group leaving me in dust, off I went in hot pursuit, but
no match to fast rental cars. So I was left behind to do my own navigating.
Now that's a problem! |

Personal Tour |
I missed the turnoff to Kinnairdy Fold, and while
taking Photos at the Rakaia Corge after finding Rawahi Fold, they ended up
passing me. Once again to slow to make it in time for the tour of
Clenange Fold. But with a little stroll around I court the
Locals just before dark and thanks to Leigh and Donald of Glenange Fold I
was treated to a personal tour the next morning. Boy was I impressed,
Highland Cattle in their true environment. |
